A wide variety of virtual desktop operating systems are supported, including Windows XP, Windows 2000, OpenSolaris and Ubuntu. And lastly, IT architects can opt for either VMware Infrastructure or Sun virtualization to host the desktop environments, or even a mixture of the two.

A concurrent user is a user consuming a session on the server. Sun VDI Software and its components can be installed on as many servers as needed to support the number of licensed users..

USE RESTRICTIONS:
The included license for Sun Secure Global Desktop only allows the product to be used in conjunction with Sun VDI Software Core to provide access from non-Sun Ray devices. Additionally, multiple virtual desktops are not permitted when accessing Sun VDI Software through Sun Secure Global Desktop Software.
Customers wishing to use the full functionality of Sun Secure Global Desktop Software must buy the appropriate Sun Secure Global Desktop Software License.
